ICT Training

All courses are tutor-led by qualified and experienced tutors. Programmes of learning are delivered in an easy-to-understand way with an emphasis on both individual and team practical work in a relaxed and supportive environment. Handouts are provided on all topics covered. students at STEP

Courses offered are a mixture of accredited and non-accredited programmes. Accredited courses lead to the nationally recognised OCR CLAiT qualifications.

The training provision at STEP was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ in the 2007

Who are Tutor-led Courses for?

  • Those who haven’t undertaken any formal learning for a number of years and therefore need the guidance and encouragement of an experienced tutor
  • Those who wish to study for a formal qualification

  • Those who wish to gain new skills to enhance their job prospects
  • Those who want to pursue a new hobby/interest
  • Those who enjoy meeting and socialising with others and wish to learn in a relaxed and friendly environment
  • Those who want to gain new skills in order to be able to support children/grandchildren or want to be able to offer ICT support to a social group they are involved in.
